Youth Club after school art program

A chill hang with creative supplies and talented artist instructors

Our after school art program on the Danforth in Toronto is perfect for kids in grades 1-6, but what about when kids outgrow the program?

We’ve launched our Youth Club to create a caring and safe environment with professional artist instructors supporting youth to explore and develop their artistic skills.

Youth Club is a great way for students in grades 6-8 to work on artistic projects they care about, learning from our knowledgeable and experienced artist instructors.

Program Overview

Our Youth Club aims to build a safe creative community among young teens. We provide a safe place to hang after school that builds character and grows artistic skills.

We’ll expect that students are independent and responsible, treating each other, the staff, the studio and tools with respect and care.

Students are welcome to join at any point through the school year, if we have space available. Please note this is a small group program, limited to ten students per day.

The Nitty-Gritty

Timing. Youth Club runs 5 days a week from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Sign up for only the days of the week they’ll attend.
Arrival. Students will be expected to make their own way to the studio.

Absences. If students will miss a day, please let us know in advance. They can make up the missed session another day.
Instructors. Bri, Evi, and Claire V are our current instructors in Youth Club. They have specialties in drawing, painting, sculpting, and cartooning.

Materials. Each student will receive a labeled storage box to keep their projects safe and a sketchbook. Shared studio materials will be available and must be cleaned and put away each day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your health precautions?
- HEPA grade filters on our mechanical ventilation system and open windows as frequently as possible
- Frequent disinfection of high touch surfaces throughout the day
- Lower capacity in all spaces to provide distancing
Any students feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of Covid 19 may not attend the program. Should students become unwell during our program, they will be isolated from other students and contacts will be called for immediate pick up.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
What are your procedures for school pick up and end of program pick up?
Do you offer a sibling discount?
What if there is a case of Covid 19 during the program?
While we will follow all public health guidelines in preventing spread of Covid 19, we cannot guarantee that there is no risk of exposure in any of our programs.

Should any student develop symptoms of Covid 19 while in the program, the student will be isolated from the group and caregivers will be called for immediate pick up. The student will not be permitted to return until they are able to pass the ‘return to school’ form.

Any staff member who develops symptoms of Covid-19 will leave work and follow the same procedure as students.

If there is a positive case of Covid-19 in our studio through any of our programs, we will perform a deep cleaning and follow the direction of Toronto Public Health.
