Make Art, Get Smart
After School Program

Inspired learning after school for Grades 1-8

Our after school program is so much more than art classes, we treat each student as a VIP! We offer after school pick up from local schools, a caring environment with professional teachers, integration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) as well as a healthy snack, we take make it easy for you to carry on with your day, worry free.

We help children in our after school program gain key life skills: problem solving, analysis, public speaking, and design principles. Most importantly, we help to increase self esteem as they build new skills and deepen connections to their community and world.

After school students will be divided into groups based on age and skill, up to grade 8.

Each day of the week will cover up to two art lessons and will build upon the theme of the week (for example: a famous artist, space, fairy tales, fantasy characters, and more).

At the end of each semester, our after school art students will select their favourite pieces to show and discuss in our invitation only art show for family and friends.

How our afterschool art program works

Our after school art program starts with outdoor time at school, a safe walk, and a healthy snack so students can focus on their art lessons with a clear mind and plenty of energy. Each day features two 45 minute art lessons, and then time to work on homework, play, or do a free-flow art project.
