Pottery & Hand-Building Classes

Toronto’s best clay classes start with Clay for Kids where imaginative play meets the unlimited possibilities of creating with clay. From ages 10+ you can explore the essentials of both hand-building and the pottery wheel. You can also enjoy a Hand-Building class to focus on making imaginative sculptures and constructing fun and functional ceramics.

If you’d like to try pottery before you join a class, check out our Workshops.

Clay for Kids

The perfect classes for kids, ages 7-10, to begin their creative journey with clay. They’ll love learning hand building techniques, including pinch pots, slab assembly, creating textures, and glazing. Please note that this class does not include the pottery wheel. Our Intro to Pottery classes, introducing the wheel, starts at age 10+.

We’ll guide you step-by-step to hand-make beautiful projects with clay and introduce the pottery wheel to explore a range of creative ceramics projects.
