We are excited to offer our 9th summer of in-person camps at Create Art Studio. Our camps are carefully developed to focus on fun, inspirational activities that engage, entertain and develop your kids’ creativity in an inclusive and safe environment.

Kids in Toronto agree that our award-winning camps are the best! Everyone has fun making art in the studio and playing games outdoors, exploring local parks, and going on fun field trips around the city.

We’ve also got you covered if you need extended hours and you can choose the days you need for a low daily fee.

Weekly Camp Themes for ages 6-10

Week one begins with 5 individual days, followed by nine full weeks. All weeks feature different themes and a wide range of projects, so you can entertain your child all summer!

What to expect

Each week, campers will explore a variety of materials, such as acrylic or watercolour paints, pastels, pencil crayons, crafting materials and more to make a variety of projects related to our weekly theme. We’ll also head out of the studio every day for park time and a weekly field trip on the TTC to local attractions.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Camp fees are due in full at time of booking. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing via email to hello@createartstudio.ca.

Refunds or credits are available based on date of withdrawal from camp and must be requested in writing via email.

More than 30 days prior to the start of camp: refund is available less a $30 administration fee OR credit on file for the full amount paid (no admin fee for a credit).

15 to 30 days prior to camp: a refund is available for 75% of camp fees paid OR credit on file for 100% of camp fees paid.

8 to 14 days prior to camp: a refund or credit is available for 50% of camp fees paid.

7 days or less prior to camp start: there is no refund or credit for any reason on or within 7 days of camp start date.

Note: Credit can be applied towards any person’s fees for classes, workshops, or camps we provide.
Do you offer a sibling or multi-week discount?
My child is 5 years old - can they attend?

Our camp activities are designed for typical 8 year olds, with modifications for campers slightly older or younger. In the past, campers younger than 6 years old have a difficult time with the amount of walking on our field trips and focus required for our art projects. In order to have younger campers join us, they will need to be able to walk very long distances and work independently.
Do you have extended hours?

Yes! Campers needing extra hours will be able to sign up through a link provided no later than one week prior to camp start date. Extended hours are from 8:30am to 5:45pm. The fee for extended hours is $30 per day and you only need to sign up for the days you need.

Extended hours registration opens one week prior to camp start. There’s enough room in extended hours for all campers, so no need to sign up early.
Where do you go for field trips?

Our field trips are to local Toronto attractions and businesses that align with the theme of the week and provide an enhanced learning opportunity. In the past we have visited the AGO, ROM, Little Canada, Museum of Illusions, Arcadia Earth , Gibson House Museum, and more!
How do you travel to field trip locations?

Tell me more about pizza lunch!

New in 2026 on Fridays of full week camps (4 or more days) we will offer a pizza lunch for campers in our art camps. We order from the local Pizza Nova restaurant and can accommodate most dietary restrictions, including if your child doesn’t like cheese on their pizza. We order cheese and pepperoni pizzas based on camper requests in the morning.
Is there an extra charge for field trips and pizza lunch?
Why does the registration process add 13% to the camp fee - is that HST?

While there is no HST on day camp fees, our booking system cannot treat camps differently than classes, so we adjust the displayed fee to account for the extra 13% fee that will be added during check out. We don’t love this confusing system either, but our accountant says we have to do it this way.
Can my child be in the same group as their friend or sibling?

Clay for Kids Camps

Explore clay in our half day camps!

Spend a week playing with clay in our pottery studio, learning hand-building and sculpture techniques. In our half-day camps, we’ll make lots of fun, creative and functional projects and also learn to add colour with glazes. Please note that camps for under tens do not include the pottery wheel.

All materials and kiln firing are included. Completed pieces will be fired and ready to pick up 2-3 weeks after camp ends.
