Mixed media play for young creative makers
Every kid wants to go on an Art Adventure! It’s the perfect class for younger artists who love imaginative play and sharing their creativity. We focus on developing their creative process and artistic techniques while having fun! Each class will explore a different creative adventure as we learn to use a variety of materials for drawing, painting, collage and sculpture.
Please note: students should be comfortable using scissors for this class.
- How to generate fun and creative ideas
- Art fundamentals like the use of line and shape, basic colour theory, and texture
- Creative ways to use wide variety of materials
What you’ll use
- Drawing materials like pencils and pencil crayons
- Painting supplies, brushes, palettes, acrylic or watercolour paint
- Crafting materials like pipe cleaners, pom poms, paper and scissors
